The Benefits package is great. The People are welcoming.
Cons
- Pay is low, below industry standards. - Upper management is not qualified, Very weak leadership, starting from the President -- This is the main reason why things do not get done properly. - There is a lack of focus on the "Big Picture". - Way to many chiefs.. not enough indians. - A lot of talk, no action. - Very few opportunities to grow professionally within the University, the majority of people that are in management positions are there because they have been with the company for a number of years... makes them loyal, but not qualified --- People have this notion that because they have been there long enough, that they deserve promotions or better positions. - Departments do not use technology properly and are afraid that their jobs could be lost if they start using it.
