Pros
Many very long term employees and leaders who know the industry. Business outlook is OK - currently riding the wave of the pandemic.
Cons
The culture as advertised and marketed sounds great ... but reality is it's not any different than other large organizations now. As the CEO, Mr Chapman, has transitioned leadership to his son and others, the culture and message permeating throughout the organization has completely shifted. Its' no longer the message of fulfillment and trust to build a vibrant organization with great people, but rather a just do as your told and don't make decisions mantra. It's simply a sad turn. The old guard is being replaced by typical large organization types (see GE) who focus solely on being in charge and fulling their own careers and egos. It is quickly losing the culture which was developed over many years. Now it's just a marketing tactic to sell speaking engagements and attract people externally. The front line team members certainly don't feel like they matter any more.
