Traffic from roads packed with tourists is often a significant frustration. If you commute from Carson City, you may as well seek a job at a hospital down there instead. (If you can't actually live in South Lake Tahoe, then why bother the time, hassle, and expense of commuting to work there?) Understand there are the same toxic politics which have crept into most all hospitals these past few years. Overall, given all of the above, why put yourself through all that?
