Pros

Passionate culture (employees and customers) Fabulous Owner (Give you the shirt of his back type of a person) Beautiful and unique to each other stores

Way behind the times in terms of resources and systems Horrible benefits (insurance, vacation, etc.) There seems to be a huge disconnect in the values the Owner seems to exude and what gets portrayed by those he entrusts in running the show "Effective Immediately" job elimination company wide for LP, PR and Visual Manager and Associates positions. The company is so disjointed that I was among several people flown out to Missouri to receive some specialized training the week the decision was made to terminate the prior mentioned positions, so they had to fly everyone back to their home locations to let them know they were out of a job.

Good discount on in house brands

Cons

Toxic management runs rampant at most stores, multiple managers keep their jobs after saying racist or sexist things to both employees or customers. If you’re a good worker they expect you to do the work for your coworkers who are lazy / not doing their job and if you complain you’re the problem. Pay is a joke. Annual raises are never more than $0.20 a year, sometimes as low as $0.07.
