Pros
• Freedom whenever you want to initiate a new plan or way of doing your job. • Basware has people dedicated to enrich wellbeing within the company - results are visible. • Bonus once a year, or quarterly, depending on the department. • Your voice is most of the time heard. • Senior Management is very professional and they seem to knows how to handle all types of situations. • Diversity & Inclusion. • Job shadowing and job rotation. • You will get the opportunity to work with some of the largest companies in the world as customers/ partners from various industries.
Cons
• Even with freedom of choice, there are strict processes that evaluate and measure almost anything, this is good for the company, but it can feel like micro-management. • The yearly bonus is barely impacted by your own performance. Hard-working and skilled people gain almost as much as every other colleague. Salaries are usually evened between employees. If you are a top-performer (with 100%/200%/ even 300% KPI over-reached) it doesn't quite count and managers will always reply with: "you are a pro, but we have a limited budget". • In almost any department, there is a massive backlog of tasks and projects and it sometimes takes many months for new assignments to start to be taken care of by someone - dues to shortage of people.
