Pros

Great pay on every level. Leaders are appreciated with bonuses, associates with more hours than ever before! When I started with the company, part time leaders worked between 15-20 hours a week and sometimes associates weren't even scheduled due to lack of hours. Now, depending on much you put in and try, you can get up to 30 hours a week constantly! I think that's awesome and a huge change in just the past year.

Cons

I understand spah and the reason for it but it's still hard to always keep positive when leaders have to "lead the way" in sales and do everything else. SM are responsible for a lot but not given hours off the floor to handle the schedule, updated onboarding procedures, ONLINE HIRING, interviews. All of these activities take time. Not five minutes but collectively, hours. There are no more store specific slt meetings, if you need to have one to get your team aligned, you have to carve it out of the hours they don't actually give you. Plans are bigger, with less hours given year after year.

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
