Pros

The people and environment at BBW is great! It is a very fun and exciting place to work. You always have something to do and the professionalism between the employees and management is very encouraging.

Cons

I have found that the store does not give many hours of work to it's employees. Most of the employees I work with, including myself, typically only get to work between 3-9 hours per week. For someone not looking to work much, it would be fine. However, when you are trying to live off of it, I can't even but groceries and gas every week with how little I work.

Pros

Generous pay for management, paid holidays and maternity leave for full timers, good benefits. Treats us more like humans than any other business I’ve ever worked for

Cons

Work/life balance can be hard, especially around the holidays

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
