Pros

Products that were sold, customers that we interacted with, the direct management within the store and the fun events that the company directed for the customers.

Cons

Upper management is a joke. They don't actually work with the customers. They show up in a store once a month and act like they know everything. They are contradictory in direction. 2 DMs were turned in the three years that I was in management within the store. Each one was more pompous and out of touch than the last.

Pros

Generous pay for management, paid holidays and maternity leave for full timers, good benefits. Treats us more like humans than any other business I’ve ever worked for

Cons

Work/life balance can be hard, especially around the holidays

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
