Pros

Gratis every now and then. Discount for full price items

Cons

1. Management turns their phones to do not disturb when they leave the store 2. Totally two faced to everyone. Eat you up to your face then talk about you to everyone else not expecting someone to tell you what they say. 3. Demand you work all the shifts no one else wants to work. 4. Frowns on you having a permanent other job that gives benefits and insurance. 5. Leaves complete chaos for the night shift and complains about how Late you have to stay to clean up everything and complete nightly changes. 6. Expects you to work all hours regardless of availability. 7. Never listens to advice from others 8. Does not explain expectations before floorset 9. Expects you to be in charge of floorset regardless of being part time and never able to prep for it. 10. Sales change multiple times a week. 11. Night shift gets the shaft. Huge responsibility put on you to make the day in sales when it should have been made during the day. 12. Many other things that takes too much time to put down.

Pros

I previously worked in the field (for a different brand) and we were always so weary of corporate teams coming into the stores. However, the corporate team at Bath & Body Works is absolutely incredible, supportive, and does everything they can to advocate for the stores. The entire Store Ops team is full of people who care deeply about the brand, the store associates, and the customer.

Cons

A lot of meetings. But being remote, it was nice to see faces throughout the day!

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
