Pros

Bath & Body Works does offer a generous discount to its sales associates, though they often run sales in which case the employee discount is useless and you receive the same price as the customer. It's a certainly a lovely store and smells divine and would be ideal for a person only looking to work about ten hours per week or less.

Cons

The issue that I had with Bath & Body Works is that the management was awful and very oppressive in a way... I was hired along with another girl and we were constantly berated about our appearances-- we weren't tan enough, our nail polish wasn't light enough, our hair wasn't blonde enough, etc. After about two month of being cut hours (one week I worked only four hours) I decided to put in my two weeks... This was the worst job experience of my life.

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
