Pros

the only pro with working here was to play with all the fun smelly stuff..

Cons

1. you get patted down before you leave EVERY day, at the store front so everyone is watching. It makes you feel like you are a criminal even though you are not! 2. very odd shift hours.. (ex: 4:15-8:45) 3. you might be scheduled to leave at 9:00 (or whenever you close), but plan on staying at least two hours after. One time I was there until 1am (yes, 1 in the morning!!!!) my parents had made a run up to the mall so see if my car was there.. they had no clue where I was, since we cannot make phone calls. 4. no break room, or chairs/tables to take a breather and get something to drink.. you couldn't keep a water bottle or anything with you.. i was always completely exhausted. 5. they check up on you like a child, you have to keep a checklist of your progress with customers. 6. I am a small woman, and they had me lifting heavy boxes on ladder in the stock room, it is ridiculous! 7. not willing to work with your life schedule, a computer schedules you, and thats when you work. 8. there are so many employees, one week i only had one 3 hour shift. 9. they have "call-in's". you are not guaranteed the hours you are given, you have to call an hour before you're scheduled to see if they "need" you.

Pros

I previously worked in the field (for a different brand) and we were always so weary of corporate teams coming into the stores. However, the corporate team at Bath & Body Works is absolutely incredible, supportive, and does everything they can to advocate for the stores. The entire Store Ops team is full of people who care deeply about the brand, the store associates, and the customer.

Cons

A lot of meetings. But being remote, it was nice to see faces throughout the day!

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
