Pros

They were very safe and upfront with COVID precautions for their employees and customers. Employee benefits with deals and new item samples were great! They definitely made sure employees knew how to explain their sales and new items to customers. Fellow sales associates were pretty nice.

Cons

Management was pretty aggressive at my location. If you were confused about something and asked one Manager a question, you would later get yelled at from a different Manager for the way you did things because none of them were on the same page. Also for a place that gives you WAY less hours than promised, they really did put a ton of pressure on you to be perfect within your first few weeks there. May be a good job for someone way more hard headed, but not for someone with anxiety like me.

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
