Pros

Benefits, nice people and decent wage. You will find fair management and receive gratis when new product arrives. If you like selling then you will fit right in.

Cons

Horrible upper management. Horrible customers in LA area. Inconsistent policy follow. It appears the norm for retail is inconsistency and favoritism. If you are a "yes man" and love nonsense with greedy sales plans then this company is for you. I have figured out the DM position is no longer about assisting and motivating a team through practical help and support but through making you feel disposable by threats. Boring, tedious and unsatisfying if you have a brain and explaining coupons to the majority of ignorant customers is mind boggling. Just understand that retail is not about experience or hard work anymore. It is about kissing butt and being fake to ridiculous DM's. Hopefully, companies will realize the DM position is obsolete or find a way to make it more of a productive position. Why would anyone want to bust their butt for someone that does nothing but send you silly emails after sales reads? Management in at will states, beware. This company( or it's employees) does not have ethics in regards to policies. Customers can be abusive and you will receive no support. Why isn't the customer care line open 24 hours? The retail theft is maddening! Not enough coverage to watch the entire sales floor.

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
