Pros

-Free product -Cross-brand discount (it's only half a pro because you don't get to use any discounts on promotional items)

Cons

-Awful work/life balance (plan on rearranging multiple vacations for jet visits, regional visits, floorset changes, mid theme updates or most recently complement changes) -Sell or die culture. Bad month? Better look for a new job. -Crazy metric expectations compared to other retailers -Lack of professionalism from DM level and up -HR has turned into a joke. Best guess is they have so much to deal with right now that they can't fix anything at all. -You will not coach, develop, manage talent at this company. You will sell. I repeat: You will just sell. -Very little internal promotion

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
