Pros
Battelle has really focused on revamping their culture over the past year. Though I cannot speak to the culture over the past years, I can speak to the culture I stepped into - one that is collaborative, supportive, and uplifting. I truly enjoy the emphasis on collaboration/team building/appreciation across departments. Working in teams has been an enjoyable experience so far - people are encouraged to embrace and respect everyone's input (regardless of rank). Also, the work that Battelle does as a whole is impactful and meaningful. Not a lot of micromanaging - people treat you like adults here. Get your work done and there won't be problems. Great benefits, flexibility, and opportunities. I feel supported in my work-life balance. Senior leadership makes themselves available to employees and values our input.
