good technical people with some interesting projects, good benefits (although this is being scaled back to match the industry norms), finally working to align executive and line management financial goals
Cons
poor management, stovepiped culture, too many former military brass with no business acumen or training, line management told to be entrepreneurial risk takers but top management are risk averse (protecting a charitable trust fund squashes innovation), continual small staff cuts (trying to stay below the formal reporting requirments to avoid bad press)
