Pros
– Huge collaborative environment—no egos or diva's here. – Monthly allowance in addition to 50% employee discount, 20% friends and family discount. – Full medical coverage, which you'll be needing after all the bagels, ice cream cakes, random fried goods for random occasions and birthday you're consuming! – Encourages room for growth and learning opportunities. – Great holiday time off schedule (we work hard around Holiday season, and then we play hard) Overall great company with phenomenal and talented people to work with. If you have a great and funny sense of humor, then this place is for you! It's rare to ever work at a place where the co-founders literally sit among the employees, and to constantly get team wide emails expressing their excitement and appreciation they have for everyone. It's clear that they put complete trust in you to do your job well. If there are any classes you wish to take, seminars to attend, materials you need, etc—they will listen to you and try their best to make your requests available to you. We go through every success and failure together as a whole, and it has rarely been singled out to one sole employee and or department. Other than the words, "Yay!" and "sparkles", the royal "we" is the most frequently used words here.
Cons
– Office space. We're busting out of the seams here! Poor seating arrangements which makes collaborating among other departments difficult at times. – Not enough hires made in proportion to business growth. (however, work hours are surprisingly nothing crazy other than round the holidays) – If you're not into the start-up environment, then BaubleBar being a start-up would be considered a con for you. – You might gain a few hefty pounds from all the bagels, ice cream cakes and random goods. (Pro: guarantee you'll find someone or even your whole team will go on a work out class with you or a juice cleanse) – Not enough office culture to reflect on the team culture and characters we have here!
