The job itself is pretty straightforward—you’re communicating with customers, processing orders, and handling day-to-day issues, so you build strong problem-solving and multitasking skills fast . Its a fast paced environment which keeps things from getting boring, and you learn how to stay organized under pressure.

One downside is that your role is pretty limited to your desk. Even if you want to be more hands-on or help out on the floor, you usually can’t—you’re expected to stay in your CSR role, which can feel restricting.
