Clock, In Clock out and you'll be fine - Nurse Helper BayCare Health System Employee Review

Pros

work 3 days pto builds up fast insurance is somewhat decent

Cons

Charge nurses abuse power and speak disrespectfully with no consequences to Nurse Helper. HR used to be helpful but now ignores serious concerns—issues often get swept under the rug. Clear favoritism in the Staffing Resource Office and within the Hospital. New hires often make more than long-term employees, and pay concerns are ignored. Nurse helpers sit with one patient for 12 hours straight, with no variation. Baycare was "Slowly bringing back the role of being an actual helper on floors which is good" Feels like a “shut up and don’t complain” culture. If you clock in and clock out you're fine. If you express your feelings and stand up for yourself you are dismissed.
