Pros
Blockbuster drug portfolio and great brand recognition. Global presence provides many opportunities for international postings or at least interaction with other country representatives. Decent pay scale and good benefits.
Cons
Reorg mania leading to frequent reductions in force. On the ground level there doesn't seem to be consistent strategy. Incompetent higher management that doesn't understand market conditions and even own portfolio. Cronyism elevates the good old boys club members regardless of expertise or lack thereof.
