Choose Research Advisor Very Carefully - Graduate Research Assistant, ME Baylor University Employee Review

Pros

Great research resources and facilities Great pay

Cons

Research is pushed too heavily, many new professors are not good and only care about research. Ironically those professors don't help with your research, only put more pressure on you to produce results for their lab. Very stressful with little care for your own growth and learning as a student. Your experience can vary drastically depending on your choice of a research advisor.
