Pros
Great coworkers, professionally challenging in a good way. Great patients that make your day, every day, when you feel youhelped contribute to their ability to regain their health. Middle managers, at least in my experience, often good people given impossible tasks. Some limited financial support for education, though much diminished from past benefits. Great diversity of professional settings and opportunities for nurses.
Cons
Top-heavy with C-suite management who continue to pay consultants to figure out what's missing when just plain treating employees with more respect, dignity and caring would do the trick for free.
