      Pros

      Growing, fast-paced, busy, more resources than the average academic medical center. New medical school collaboration. Newer facilities.

      Cons

      Reporting structure not clear across facilities, some siloes that make change hard. "Old school" beliefs die hard here and rapid growth has resulted in some fear and "old school" people doubling down on their beliefs.

      Pay range is well even for starting out

      Cons

      Not much diversity at all, most employees are of European decent or MIXED. Wouldn't recommend this dept for people who aren't of euro or mixed race. Confidentiality goes out the window, CM's are not team players, Manager cannot lead a team effectively. Too much personal life talk within staff, makes it hard to focus on work when colleagues are busy gathering personal info about you.
