Demoralizing culture - Human Resources Baystate Health Employee Review

It's a pretty broken culture on the corporate side. Hierarchical isn't a strong enough word. Overly, arbitrarily complex processes lead to exception-based activity as the norm. Obvious solutions requiring effort are eschewed for tolerating failure - it's easier to blame than lead. Favoritism, nepotism, discrimination... standard SOP - some of it surprisingly overt. I encountered some of the best and worst people I've ever met in this organization. The truly great ones were as such despite their environment, not because of it. After a while it becomes harder and harder to find motivation to keep putting up with it.
