hiring process - Registered Nurse Baystate Health Employee Review

Disappointed in their hiring process. It seems as if Baysate Medical Center does not hire African Americans or Hispanics in professional positions. This is really disturbing as they are based in where the majority of people are African American and Hispanics, and therefore make up a great part of their patients. It is a hurtful feeing looking around and not having one co-worker within your department that is of the same race as you are. I know that there are qualified people that are applying for jobs here outside of janitorial, and kitchen help. Shame on the managers, and higher ups that allow this disturbing practice to continue on!
