Pros

Quiet and lowkey, the bistro had tasty options

Cons

I received little to no training. Higher ups touted the book ‘who moved my cheese’ and required everyone to read it. Meetings for no reason, implement of ai that no one asked for, not everyone is there to climb. I had bills to pay and wanted to get in and get out, not help line higher managements pockets. Somehow it was our fault if they were doing poorly. Corporate sucks in general. Microsoft had a massive outage and my boss’s boss yelled at us like it was our fault. They’re nice until they’re not, most of them are fake and phoney. Everything, including design, is outdated and sad, I had high hopes. The building also has massive issues and it constantly smells like sewage.

Pros

he pros of working at Bealls are the opportunity to grow in customer service, leadership, merchandising, and store operations. It is a good place to build communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and retail management experience while working in a fast-paced environment.

Cons

Some of the cons are that company policies and procedures change frequently, which can make it challenging for employees to keep up with expectations. The company also appears to be shifting toward a model similar to TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls, but without always providing the same level of training, staffing, or pay structure. Another concern is the lack of consistent pay raises, even when employees take on additional responsibilities
