Pros

-team members can be outstanding and working with them makes for good laughs and fun times while still being efficient. -the guest that shop the store are mostly polite and considerate of the employees.

Cons

-the base wage for all positions is so low -In my experience a lot of managers will not follow company policy of informing you when they make a schedule change. So your schedule for the week can actively change day to day with no notice. On the flip side of that for full time leadership there’s limited input on the scheduled so between pay period there have been times I’ve worked over a week straight before getting another day off. -EVERY ONE gets cross trained to do it all and it can be very overwhelming for some staff members to just be thrown in to different task with inconsistent training.

Pros

he pros of working at Bealls are the opportunity to grow in customer service, leadership, merchandising, and store operations. It is a good place to build communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and retail management experience while working in a fast-paced environment.

Cons

Some of the cons are that company policies and procedures change frequently, which can make it challenging for employees to keep up with expectations. The company also appears to be shifting toward a model similar to TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls, but without always providing the same level of training, staffing, or pay structure. Another concern is the lack of consistent pay raises, even when employees take on additional responsibilities
