Pros
pay is much higher than anywhere else. 401k was tremendously generous, also one of the few places where tuition reimbursement covered 100% of cost of schooling
Cons
because it is so large, and because of the nature of engineering, divisions and groups would get laid off and no one would ever say hey, this person is good, lets move him somewhere else instead of just firing him.
