Pros
Compared to most Engineering/Construction companies, Bechtel values its employees. If you do a good job for them on one job, your chances of getting on at another jobsite are excellent. This is far from the norm with most big construction/engineering firms I have been able to observe.
Cons
Bechtel has had a sort of blue-collar/macho culture. However, this seems to be changing with a new generation at the helm. The professionalism has improved markedly.
