Pros
1. Transparent when it comes to pay equality (don't expect to be cream) but the pay bandwidth is well defined and you get salary more or slightly less but not very less as compared to your peers having same exp. 2. People are never rude. They speak politely, come what may. 3. Good people, all very hard working and some quite talented and polite. You can demand leaves timely. 4. If you work for LNG, which is quite booming or Cracker EPC, You'll be recognised globally.(I believe it depends on you how much knowledge you gain though.)
Cons
1. Every single day which passed by I was thinking about how insecure my job was. You might doubly think about long term investments if you join Bechtel. 2. Pay is mediocre if we compare to other industry like Finance, so job security risk is not compensated with that big of salary. 3. Leaders/management are Highly skeptical about OG&C arm, which has somehow made huge profits for Bechtel till date. 4. Type of work you'll be assigned is repetitive but it's upto you if you want to learn good stuff. For me LNG was new but it got boring after a year. 5. Unfortunately, due to some reason my lead gave me less rating obviously due to some personal reasons I didn't know. But I can tell that other leads I worked were very good and professional. But damage was done. 6. Thanks to my sanity and timing I decided to switch and avoided getting fired. 7. Also this is not company's fault but Gurgaon is really, really pathetic place. Never wanna go back there.
