Pros
I'm not a negative person but I feel compelled to be honest. I'll also add that I would give my last company 4 stars as a point of comparison. The office is in NJ which may be convenient if you live nearby. Employee discount - 20% off all items without exclusion 30% off twice per year. Bring your dog to work. That's it. No other pros.
Cons
There is not enough time in my life to list all the cons but let me start: 1) Understaffed & Overworked - There are countless teams at this company but each team is only a few people who are understaffed and overworked. You can either work late or just not get stuff done. Some teams can get away without doing their work, others get yelled at. Many teams are also only looking out for themselves. 2) Meeting & More Meetings - The only way to get anything done is to meet & meet & meet. Prepare to have your calendar booked 75% + of your time. 3) Old & Outdated - The company is old. Technology is almost nonexistent. Everything is an Excel file or some system from 1985. I have typewriters that are more modern. Many people have been here for decades and have no idea what it means to work for a normal company. 4) Leadership - There is none. There are bosses but not one leader. There are people to tell other people what to do and when to do it but no one to actually motivate, lead, guide or inspire the employees. A lot of this is b/c of the organization set up and workload. How can someone lead when they are in meetings all day? 5) CEO - Thankfully he just got fired. The CEO needed to approve every hire at the corporate level. Can you believe this? Over 2,000 employees. He also needed to approved your dog if you wanted to bring your dog to work. The CEO who made over $14,000,000 would approve your dog! He was also against Working from Home and created a culture where no one would move without his blessing. 6) No random perks - No snacks or drinks, the benefits are pricey, you can't contribute to a 401k for the first year of employment, no Working from Home, very few legal holidays or vacation days, no days off to volunteer, some managers even track sick-days, no team lunches (unless you want to pay), etc. etc.
