Pros
Great benefits including 401 k, health/dental/vision- we used to have $0 deductible but now it's $250 a year....as long as you stay with Beebe docs it's pretty much covered. Staff members are awesome, a true team, direct bosses care for employees and are good business professionals.
Cons
Pay is NOT competitive for SLP, OT, PTA, PT, PT. all Beebe takes into account is years of experience- not if you have an advanced degree (doctorate) or if you are in a certain field like Homehealth. Every year I threaten to quit since all of us get job offers about once a week it would be easy....and they give me a decent raise. Not sure if I will stay in upcoming years...love my job but if the money really matters it's not the job for you. HR doesn't get how in demand therapists are and the keep paying travelers BIG money because the can't recruit PT's in the area secondary to salary. Beebe board members wake up....baby boomers are getting older and you need therapists bad...along with every other hospital, assisted living/nursing home and rehab center in this retirement (beach) community.
