HR and management do not support employees or are interested in their welfare, especially if you are bright and a breath of fresh air. You’re not allowed to speak up (considered insubordination) and unfortunately retaliation and the inconsistent following of Beebe values is the norm. Beebe takes the prize of unfair treatment and toxic behavior. Early on in my tenure I went to HR. They deferred to management. Very convenient and cushy for HR and C suite. Once you get labeled and lied about the truth never comes to the surface.
