Behr Paint Company is a company that says “welcome to the family.” I have felt like a member of the Behr Paint family since day one.
When I started with Behr, I was new to the paint industry, coming from the medical world. But the Behr culture promotes product knowledge by providing extensive, hands-on training, and the company has created valuable tools such as mobile apps and videos to make this information easily accessible. I have enjoyed this learning process, but even more important are the relationships I’ve built with a group of wonderful people throughout the company.
The Architectural team I work with are a very talented group of people. Representing Behr, whose products are top-rated and sold internationally, has been a thrill. I especially enjoy participating in Construction Specifier Institute events and representing with the team at industry tradeshows around the country. In my two short years here at Behr, I have learned a great deal about paint, color theory, the specification process and the construction industry.
