- KRONOS -This is an HOURLY job where you fill out a time keeper app. Behr had to make the hourly pay decision based on a calendar that is given to J.D. Power, due to employment laws in certain states.
-J.D.POWER- hires secret shoppers and rates your customer service. You will fill out a two week schedule. J.D. Power gets your schedule and will randomly shop you when your in the store. The “stability” of some of the secret shoppers can be uneasy and not sure if most are qualified.
- MOTUS- You start your day off signing into a mileage tracker that was sold to the field as a better car allowance plan. It wasn’t IMO. You start the app when you leave your house and stop it when you get to the Home Depot.
- COMMISSIONS are determined by the amount of product Home Depot wants to bring in that month.
- HOURLY PAY RATE -doesn’t go up with raises. The commission rate does and commissions are not guaranteed if Home Depot brings in less product.
- MORTGAGE- If you haven’t already purchased a home and were thinking of getting a mortgage.. with the current pay structure being hourly/commission. Good Luck!
- ETO- they increased ETO for all, which sounded good, but it really offset the fact that if you get sick you will have to use your built up ETO time.
- WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS- get ready to work six days a week. Some weekends are back to back and during a Three week span you can work 17 days with Two days off.
