My onboarding experience was confusing and frustrating. I accepted a salaried position, as clearly stated in my offer letter and throughout the hiring process. However, once I started, I was unexpectedly informed that the role had been reclassified as hourly.
When I raised concerns, I was told this was a “back-end error,” but I was eventually told that they could issue me a new offer letter with different terms than what I had originally agreed to.
Communication from HR and management was inconsistent and at times dismissive, leaving me without clarity or accountability.
