Their policy development is entirely reactionary and driven to squeeze every dime out of the customer while avoiding giving any extra to their employees. They expect you to work 5-10 hour shifts regardless of whether there is enough work to go around that day, and if you try to leave early they'll claim you won't get your paid time off to keep you there. The last change they made to "average out" the pay to the Alignment Technician was announced in such a way that it blames the technicians and salesman for an increase in sales of the higher paying service, not taking into consideration that they had equalized the price for the customer to effectively a BOGO deal. The company doesn't contribute hardly anything toward the health insurance, and when you complain about problems they are quick to hide behind a company line of "but we pay you well" like its an umbrella. They also expect salesmen to take customers right up to closing bell expecting techs to stay late to "best serve the customer". This creates a hefty life/work imbalance that causes excess stress and angst among technicians.
