Pros
I have worked at different Belmonts for over four years in many capacities and have promoted from within to my current position. Before I worked here, I used to visit as a nurse and the employees would always tell me, "I love my job," so I decide to apply. Now, I love my job! Pros: Tenured front line staff, as well as management, great company reputation, on the job training, organized, specific job duties for everyone, ability to promote from within and grow professionally and personally, treated like a person, respected for my unique contribution.... I actually love and respect the people I work for. Patricia Will, the CEO and founder, is lovely, intelligent, funny, kind, generous, fair, perceptive and intuitive -the kind of top boss who knows the names of the team members holding the broom. Her heart is in alignment with her mind and she is a real role model for the rest of us. Yay, Belmont!
Cons
Our grand opening was in August 2017 -In October 2017 we took on the humanitarian effort of providing shelter for over 100 senior citizens who were affected by the Santa Rosa fires, for a span of about two months. While we were recognized by the state, the people and especially the families we helped - it was demanding on our new team members to have so many new people in need. We brought on a lot of staff and volunteers to help but unfortunately it was a difficult time for some of the employees (as depicted in a review.) We all had our hands full, but I would do it again.
