Pros

I first worked for Benchmark as a tech before I went to PT school. I loved it so much that I knew I wanted to come back and work for them as a licensed Physical Therapist. It’s been a year since I’ve started back with Benchmark and I’m even more grateful now for the opportunity than I was then. I can’t say enough good things about this company! They have so many opportunities for growth - educationally, professionally and personally. They have their own continuing education programs, including residencies and other credit courses for licensing renewal. Great benefits. Great mentor programs for new grads and a gradual ramp up to allow you to get used to a full caseload. The company is very engaged with the community and always looking for ways to give back. Management that CARES and wants to get to know you personally! They invest in their people and look for ways to support you in any way they can.

Cons

No maternity/pattern leave - have to use short term disability if needed

Pros

Patients are awesome, wonderful rapport with patients. Consistent bonuses for regular FT employees. Everyone I worked with at a few clinics were definitely feeling the same way and we bonded quickly. Definitely a loyal employee magnet.

Cons

Busy. PTAs see more than PTs. Thats the cost of $60k/$90k salary gap. They keep the schedule 2-3 an hour. Most clinic directors are nice but definitely overworked. I’m a PTA and was worked like a PT. I would think twice before taking travel contract with Benchmark again.-
