Pros

Smaller company where you can move around quite easily and be able to learn from some very talented people. Lots of opportunity to grow and move onto somewhere more lucrative.

Cons

The management can be quite difficult to work with. The boss can flip a switch and go from super nice to completely insane. Make sure to keep a low profile and be able to cover your butt in case they set their sights on you.

Pros

I became incensed when I came across the reviews on Glassdoor and wanted to contribute my own review. I suppose things have changed here at Benchmark because I have a completely different view of this organization. I work fully remote from home. The culture is collaborative. People are NICE and very professional!! The 401k benefits match at 25% of my contributions (not 3 or 4% like most companies) AND they have a profit sharing bonus. It's a very inclusive and diverse company. Thank you, Benchmark. I'm going to reach out to other employees and see if we can 'up' these numbers with positive reviews!

Cons

I wish I could visit the main headquarters and meet my peers in-person someday.

Pros

May be manageable if you are 100% remote.

Cons

If you have to be in the New Rochelle office, it is truly a strange place with bizarre, abusive management. The negative reviews are accurate. You will hear yelling, shouting, cursing, and insults thrown around casually. It’s usually directed at individuals. This comes from the very top CEO - the bad vibes trickle down through middle management and onto workers. Turnover is extremely high, lots of layoffs and outsourcing. Occasional free lunch doesn’t make up for the horrible culture. Systems are convoluted and there’s no real training process or HR, so a lot of times one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing.
