Pros

- Free Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate - Plenty of lunch options on-site - Fruits and veggies available most days - Flexibility to work from home

Cons

Oh where to begin... - Highly under-payed for the amount of work you do - Even though you'll work over 40 hours a week most weeks, you get no overtime or bonuses, and your annual raise will be less than 4% - Company pushes "culture" that now consists of firing good employees because they make too much money - Ever since the company went public, it's all about shareholders and saving money. This means tiny raises and outsourcing work to global resources that just end up screwing up and needing experienced associates to re-do the work - Constantly "re-organizing" the company, so there is no consistency and no knowledge of what is actually going on. They use vague filler words that don't mean anything. - Currently laying off people that have "bloated" salaries, but encouraging them to re-apply for a pay cut. The same positions that are getting laid off already have job postings.

The title of your review makes me sad, but thanks for your candid thoughts. The company is making changes and those changes are an effort to better support our customers and set our associates up for success as we grow. As you list in your “pros,” we like to provide great perks for our teams. We have many associates involved in Community & Culture programs, events, and charitable organizations. Those programs continue to grow and I would welcome any additional thoughts on how we can better support associates. Our associates are the culture. About your “cons,” while we do have a global workforce which allows us to serve customers around the clock, those teams are making changes as well as we build to support more customers on the platform. Our associates are our greatest resource and I will share your concerns with the leadership team. If you would like to take this conversation off line and share some ideas, I would be happy to listen. You can reach me at stephanie.feals@benefitfocus.com.
