Pros

Free coffee and that's about it

Cons

I don't even know where to begin. BF use to be a great place to work, until they went Public and decided to try to grow the customer base but not grow the staff. 1. Customer escalation - you could tell your managers something is wrong and a customer is unhappy until you are blue in the face and they will not do a single thing about it to help you. However, if the client actually reaches out to them about it and escalates, thats when management gets involved and shifts most of the blame on you, even though you tried to get help before the client felt they had to escalate. 2. The hours - Having a social life from Sept - January is not an option. I spent 7 hours on Christmas Eve day 2 years ago working on a Payroll file, when I wasn't even on the Payroll team. But those who are client facing are held accountable for every single thing, even if it's not their dept. No dept that is not client facing is held accountable for a single thing and everything then falls on the Account Manager, sorry.. Client "Success" Manager. 3. Growth - Being able to grow there is a joke. Those who do well in their position are almost never allowed to switch positions, unless they are BFF with their Manager. And, most managers are not qualified to be a manager at all, but because they are friends with the director they get promoted. 4. Sink or Swim - You are basically set up to fail in any position, as training is almost obsolete. Every day you feel as though you are drowning in work, and no one there is willing to throw you a life raft. The better you do the more work they give you, whereas those who aren't as good at things aren't given as much work. 5. Salary - A joke/non existent. 6. The Software - DOES NOT WORK. When something happens and it's sent to engineering, the engineer team simply "fixes" it, but is unable to give a reason as to what happen. A normal response is typically "this never should have happened, but...". And yes they fix it, but it typically falls on the already overworked CSM to update every member who was affected by this and answer to the client, even though they are not the ones who broke it. And releases are a JOKE. All they do is break more things and do not fix prior issues. 7. Going Global - Great idea, NOT. All the "global" team does is mess stuff up more than it already is, and then the employees at BF spend even more time fixing what Global messed up, on top of now trying to fix the original issue.
