Pros
-The people that work there at an associate-mid level manager are amazing. They truly try their best to execute at high level in-spite of mismanagement at higher levels. -The offices are nice, even if the new building looks like it was designed by an overactive pinterest specialist - Benefitfocus does offer good opportunity to start in tech and to grow your career however you must be willing to put in long hours and suck up to the right people.
Cons
- Worklife balance is impossible with the only saving grace is coworkers become good friends. - Compensation should be better when compared to a national company. - Constantly changing priorities by senior level managers who have little to no idea what is actually going on in the market. - Sales is king, even when they are anemic, which leads to overselling products that are not yet built. - Majority of the company prides itself on its ability to delegate (read as avoid responsibility).
