Pros

Very nice new campus, if you work on Daniel island. Very young (pro or con) employee demographic. Many catered breakfast/ lunches during OE. Free Starbucks coffee. Large focus on "culture." The benefits are good if you are an Associate. Get to have a beer on Fridays. Good product.

Cons

Nepotism- need I say more? It is very well know around town that the CEO is a ego maniac. Inexperienced and unstable upper management which makes for a harsh work environment. Never in my life have been in a work environment where employees get fired with zero notice if they cross with upper management. Employees across the board are greatly underpaid compared to industry standards. Recently, the CEO donated 25 million to a local children's hospital (which is wonderful) but doesn't seem to care enough to pay his employees a wage they can survive on. Recently, the new president has started outsourcing a significant number of American jobs to India. This could be a positive thing so people aren't fooled. Finally, I sat in on a meeting within my department to have associates log reviews on Glassdoor about how great it is to work at BenefitFocus. Most all of the reviews on this website for BF are planted.
