Pros

There's a lot of flexibility for work/life balance, if you've got the right supervisor. They have some really great employees, particular at the specialist level.

Cons

The benefits are horrible. You do not receive the training you should. I had to do my own research to figure out how to do my job, and there's still a lot I don't know because it's company-specific and I CANNOT know it. It almost feels like they don't want you to know, which makes me uncomfortable. Some of the business practices seem unethical, especially considering the lawsuit that happened in 2015 and the layoffs that happened later. We all wondered if the layoffs were connected to the lawsuit. The offered pay is at a lower spectrum, and you're expected to do a LOT of work. Upper management looks down on the specialists and won't listen to them. Supervisors pawn work off on specialists and get away with doing nothing.

Pros

Benevis affords dynamic opportunity for professional growth and intra-departmental partnership with talented and dedicated colleagues. A clear mission driven purpose to maximize access to care for children, provides strong job satisfaction. Vast opportunity to own and drive results with support from leadership. Significant industry expertise exists across each business unit, with each unit supporting operations significantly.

Cons

The volume and pace of transformational work taking place, may be overwhelming to some. Intra-organizational communication continues to improve across the organization, however remains an area of opportunity.
