Pros
I have never worked for a company like this one where they mean what they say and they stand in your corner. I come from a family of business owners and watched first hand what good values look like. Oftentimes when you see companies like this they lose their humanity along the way as it grows and focus shifts. This is not the case at Bergstrom. I stepped into a position in one of the body shops with very minimal car knowledge and was met with warmth and support from not only management but the entire company as I learned and grew in my position. This has stood true for my almost 2.5yrs here. I have shifted into our Central Accounting office, where at any point I can pop in by a manager with a concern or just to take a breath if things become too much. One Team. One Brand is not just a tag line, its the family culture here.
Cons
The thing that I find most frustrating is training on new systems. As the company grows it finds more effective programs and processes. Unfortunately this is something you must learn on the fly as you still do your daily things. The support is there, but integration can be tough sometimes. I guess my con is just normal growth in company/positions. I don't hold it against the my teams its just your average frustrations/growing pains when you are with a company for years.
