Uncomfortable Place to Work - Anonymous employee Bergstrom Automotive Employee Review

Felt very uncomfortable the entire time I was employed here. I feel they do not practice what they preach in any capacity…they have their own hiring practices that are bias (overheard some of these conversations of why they were not offering a particular candidate), lots of serious situations that are brushed under the rug and avoided, inappropriate comments were to employees, among various others. Overheard first hand a manager laughing about how they pressure employees to purchase cars they can’t afford so they “work harder”. Employees feel pressured into giving for their “community giveback” giving each store a budget and essentially haggling everyone until it’s hit. I could go on, it’s just a degrading place to work that exploits employees to be the gold star of Neenah WI. It felt cult-like…
