Pros
As an employee of over 10 years, but also having tested the waters throughout the industry; I can say that Berkshire checks nearly every box in terms of what you would want in an employer. A positive and transparent culture embracing of diversity are at the forefront of why this company stands in a class of it's own. Pay is competitive, the benefits package and options are among the best in the industry and Berkshire always strives to be on the cutting edge in regard to new technologies. Everyone from the top brass all the way down to the porter is personable, approachable and willing to share a helping hand. On-site development and advancement opportunities are abundant and training/support is thorough and responsive. Work/life balance is of high importance as it is a focus of upper management as can be seen by the fact that all new employees are given THREE weeks vacation as oppose to the industry standard of two AND there are additional observed holidays that are not so common in the workplace.
