      Pros

      Works hard for the employees who work hard for them! Berkshire is extremely rewarding to loyal employees! They go beyond other companies to offer the highest compensation, bonus structure, and benefits. I absolutely DO NOT EVER want to leave them! From the highest corp office to site level, everyone feels honored and recognized for jobs "well done." Offers more than 20% off apts for staff who live onsite, continuous training to improve skill or for career growth, and open transfer (community to community) policy.

      Cons

      Only downsize as mentioned in another review is the sell of properties. HOWEVER, Berkshire is moving in a different direction and A class properties are their focus.

      Pros

      Good company and culture. Awesome group of people. Good benefits and PTO package.

      Cons

      Recently they have been cutting positions for the onsite teams which is leaving minimal in person front line support which communities really need. This is putting a lot of stress and pressure on the onsite teams and is impacting work life balance which is something that Berkshire used to value more. Additionally, cutting positions does not give opportunities for growth.
