Pros

The employee discount is very good - cost plus 5% when I worked there. you learn about all the new technology and are encouraged to play on the job. The interactions with customers are good since there is no commission sales pressure.

Cons

Horrible hours and changing schedules. It always seemed the wrong people were promoted and everyone at the retail level feels they are underpaid. Senior managment was often detached from the rank and file workers and there was a sense of elitism from the top. There are no employee retention plans and employees are made well aware that they are replaceable.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
